The DVE Team

Collaboration is a key component of the philosophy here at Double Vision Editorial, and as DVE grows, so does its expert team. Whether DVE has a busy month of projects, fresh eyes are needed for an edit in a multi-pass project (a copy edit after content edits, for example), or a project requires special expertise, DVE works with only the most trusted and skilled independent contractors.

DVE has a firm subcontractor policy, and no work will be subcontracted without a client's advance written consent. Danielle works closely with her team, as well, collaborating with editors on style choices, content questions, etcetera. Danielle is also the direct contact for all clients when a subcontractor is brought into the mix, so clients can sit back and relax, knowing that their work is in the best hands.

Abby Rose

Developmental Editing, Manuscript Reviews

Prior to publishing her Deathmark series (as Abigail Baker), novels featuring a tattoo artist with the touch of death, with Entangled Publishing, Abby won first place in the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers' 2010 Colorado Gold Writing Contest for Romance and first place in RWA's Golden Network's 2011 Golden Pen in Paranormal Romance. She is a member of Romance Writers of America and the Society for Editing, and has planned two regional academic conferences, one of which hosted best-selling author and political activist Barbara Ehrenreich (Nickle and Dimed). Since 2015, Abby has been editing fiction as a supplement to her writing career; however, she is quickly learning that editing and supporting fellow writers is far more rewarding and enriching.
