Whether you need an original blog post or article or you want to have an existing draft edited, DVE has the expertise to help!
Danielle not only writes posts for her own blog, Reading Between the Lines, but she is more than happy to provide original posts for other bloggers to post on their sites, as well. Whether it is a book review, a post about a writing or editing topic, or even something totally different (she has strong interests and a solid knowledge base regarding film, cooking, the medical field, and more). Danielle has even had a book review published in a textbook (Engaging Questions: A Guide to Writing, published by McGraw-Hill, p. 375-377).
Danielle has also studied journalism (coursework at Boston University and Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism) and is well versed in article writing. You can find some of her work in the archives of the Daily Free Press or samples can be sent upon request.
DVE editor Lorrie G. Noggle also has experience in original content creation. She has a bachelor’s degree in creative writing from Hollins University, is a published author (The Other Side of Gemini as LG McCann), and has written for a number of blogs on various topics. In fact, as a senior editor/writer for JA Worldwide, she creates a plethora of content for their website, blog, and social media accounts on a daily basis.
Similar is true of many of DVE's editors, and we can pair you with the perfect writer for your project!
Rates for blog/article content differs greatly from project to project, especially when it comes to editing versus original content creation, but rates will generally fall between $35 and $75 per hour. After reviewing project details (e.g. type of content, word count, turnaround time) and discussing the scope of the project with a client, DVE will provide an official quote and overall assessment of how much work the project might need, how long it might take, and our estimated fee.
